That sounds par for the course..... I'm paying close to 50.00 a box for rifle ammo now, If they double on that I will need a second job and wont have time to hunt... Are they going to make wheel weights out of non toxic material also... Walk done the edge of your local Hwy and look at all the lead that is on the road side.... One thing after another... Working man dont have a chance on getting ahead when our great government is holding him back... At times I wish I was rich instead of good looking.... :roll:

Several environmentalist groups led by the Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) are petitioning the EPA to ban lead bullets and shot (as well as lead sinkers for fishing) under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA

I believe the article I posted,in which this passage was taken ,does not make a distinction in regards to which type of ammunition.
In fact it includes fishing sinkers.
The point , in my opinion- is not one of impact on the environment, but rather a backdoor attempt at increasing the cost of ammunition to a point, that fewer, and fewer Americans participate in firearm related activities.( Fewer participants ) fewer in opposition to firearm related regulations.
As far as your choice of weapon for hunting, YOU GO! :D
I`m going to blast my swamp rabbit with 12 guage #5. I`m not good at finding arrows back in snake infested thickets.
And as far as shooting birds, and squirrels with a bow?!?! Whatever! :roll:
