 Big Bird
Crying over Big Bird IS a diversionary tactic. Borrowing money from Communist China to prop up the left-leaning programming of PBS is the issue. If you are for it, dig a little deeper come telethon time and pay for it yourself, don't expect the government to do it.
-BenGhazi was a foreign policy failure. Period. Failures happen. They happen more often when you project weakness to other countries around the globe. They definitely happen when you deny the additional protection requested by the people in the field. The big issue here is when you try to pin the cause for your foreign policy failures on a video you know for a fact had nothing to do with a coordinated terrorist attack (because an election is coming).
-Binders: More diversion. I seriously prefer a guy that has years of successful business experience and a proven track record as an executive, capable of making forward progress in a bi-partisan environment. The only way your man can move forward with legislation is in the dark of night and by providing exemptions to the law for those willing to vote for it. And this with a super-majority. America doesn't want the new tax called ObamaCare. America doesn't want a trillion dollars in new taxes. America wants to go back to work. America wants to get out of debt. America wants a leader who actually believes in American exceptionalism, not one that feels he needs to apologize for us. Quit acting like the last four years didn't happen. Quit talking about amazing new policies that will get this country back on its feet, when you haven't bothered to even pass a budget in the last three years. Quit crying about subsidies to big oil when you have dumped far, far more into clean energy boondoggles. We can go back and forth with talking points right up until the election, but take a little time to study up on what the Founding Fathers intended for this country. Be honest with yourself and read what they had to say. Read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Read the Declaration of Independence. Crack a (non-revisionist) history book. Our country is heading for a cliff and it may be too late to turn it around. We can spend time pointing fingers and laying blame, or we can agree to go back to our founding principles and attempt to turn it around -together. There is no other option that will end with a united America.
(I generally write my own stuff. I borrowd the above comments from one of my brothers)
