To some it may be a symbol of heritage and history, to others it may be a symbol of racism. Either way, it was hoisted above the capitol as a thumbing of the nose by democrats during the civil rights struggle. It took a republican to remove it. |

All in all, it will be a hollow victory for black Americans. In the big picture, it will do nothing to lower the poverty rates among blacks that have climbed under Obama. It will do nothing to the staggering number of black on black murders that are so common in black neighborhoods. it will not bring back the businesses and homes in Baltimore that were looted and burned by black criminals. It will not lower the millions upon millions of black babies aborted in America. Just yesterday the fellow below was arrested for murdering seven other black folks. You know, RangerP, we talk and write about Repulicans and Democrats, and I'm just as culpable as you on this, like tha Shi'a and Sunni do about each other. Different context of course but the vitriol is the same. Maybe we should all tone it down a bit? |

Time for all the fleur delis to come down. Can't just stop with the flag. I guess the New Orleans Saints will have to get new uniforms. There's also buildings that were built by slaves. Time to destroy those as well. |

Down with the American flag too. It flew over state slavery much longer than the Confederate flag. George Washington owned slaves, let's change the name of Washington DC to Obama DC. Everything will be better then. All the blacks will be free from the democrat plantation. In reverence to the action taken in SC today, I think we should all give our homes to an African American...in the spirit of the day. Free at last! |
