It's tradition in my family that the boys get a shotgun before their 1st birthday. (Usually before they are born) Finally found a good deal on the right gun for my son. 20ga Beneli Montefeltro. I might have to break it in for him in dove season though!

I love your tradition! I remember buying my son and daughter their first guns. I think I was more excited than they were. Single shots are great for teaching safety but not all that much fun to shoot. |
