| Post subject: | First Hunt. |
Took my 5 yr old daughter Harper on her first hunt today after she has asked me to go for the last 7 days straight. Had a 4 o clock wake up, boat ride on the river, setting decoys, and building a blind, we were setup for 6:30 shooting light. I shot two pretty quick, and after 15 minutes of not having a kill, she asked if we could go home, so we started packing it up at 7:00. 3 hours of activities was enough for her. She had a blast, and loved watching her dog go get the ducks. |
