ijust got the new 18 x 54 boat thought they only built square chime boats this one has 3 bends ion the corners did they change would this be a round or taper chime ? thanks mac |

Thats a tapered chine. My pd boat is also tapered. I knew they built them for a while, then stopped, maybe they are building them again. You'll like it. |

thanks cb hope so didnt know about it web says only square but every one else says they slide , came out of a 16x48 gd to this will it draft more ? |

Your gd was round wasn't it? The tapered will draft slightly less than the round and slightly more than the square. I like mine. Think its a happy medium between the two. Def turns a lot better than the square. |

yep cb ur right my gd was a surface drive boat it was a taper this boat runs and it really corners better |
