yea it was actually not too bad. did a little head scratching at first. but have less than half of what i would have payed for a beavertail |

This is my first post on MMT, I just joined cause i bought a 10' jon to hunt out of and im lookin in to buildin a 6hp longtail for it. If you could post some more pictures of the motor/build progress and a complete list of parts it would be GREAT! Thanks |

rubber grease seals from mcmastercarr....they have a whole online catalog in just about any size you could want |

6.5 hp yes shaft is balanced from mcmaster carr |

Solo, that is great. I daydream periodically about building my own. Do you have any plans which you can post? Also what does it weigh? I am thinking of putting a motor on a square back 17 ft. aluminum canoe I have and wondering if this may be a viable matchup. |
