We had a pretty good day hunting the old mighty missississippi last Monday. 10 ducks. All mallards, one drake green wing teal and one hen gadwall. |

Thanks guys. I didn't have time to make a hard blind yet, so I had to resort back to the old homemade collapsible blind. |

i hunt in south minnesota on the mississippi too and is lookin at a setup like yours and is wondering how it is working out in the mississippi |

what kind of speeds are you getting out of the stock pd motor? what size is the boat? 1756? |

duckzbuckz365, Boat runs awesome on the river and we have many shallow areas, no issues. Lots of stumps too, no job is too tough for this rig. Mag10, I hunt on the Mississippi by Clinton, which is the eastern most tip of Iowa schmitt, I haven't GPS'd it yet, but it runs very well. I am happy with the speed I am achieving. The boat is a Phowler Extreme Series 1856. |
