Quick summary - jets do well on hard bottoms - poorly on soft bottoms or in veggies

While - MMs do well in soft bottoms and veggies - poorly on hard bottoms

The hard bottoms will play heck on MM props but - they will sure get you there
if they are on plane and you have 4" or more water to run in.... Both will have
trouble getting up on plane over 4" hard bottoms but should roll on thru once
up to speed...

Just depends on the conditions which one will serve you better....
