My kid and I are going to share one of those blind-your-buddy hard hat lights, but the only person who has a bigger head than he has is me ... like 7 and 3/4. How big are those little plastic hats? Any other melon heads out there who have tried them?

the pnes down south in la they use a rachet hard hat and they r made out of that so i mean i have a big head and they fit me just fine idk what ones u talking bout ?..

Good point, Bundy. We had in mind two kinds - probly should have asked which one to get - anyway, the ones from Floral City Airboat look like they should not be a problem because they look like a belt that could be lengthened if necessary, but Mud Buddy has one that looks like a hard hat, and usually the one-size-fits-all is actually one-size-don't -fit-me. Too small. So, I was asking about those. Thanks.

i have one of the hard hat lights and it adjusts small where my fiance can frog with it or so big it falls off my head and i wear a 7 1/4 so you should be good with that

Get a ratchet back,

if you can wear a hard hat you can wear one with a light on it. Build you own much cheaper!

Prodrive sells $80 that clips directly to battery. It is rigged on a hard hat and fits me (7-3/8) hat size.
