 PD trim/tilt fluid "QUERSTION"

Post PD trim/tilt fluid "QUERSTION"
I believe my trim/tilt is getting so hot(from weather) , my fluid is leaking out .
I know this is not a new topic, but I could`nt get info. through search. :?

1. Any particular steering fluid?
2. Do you have to take the whole assembly off?
3. Ram in, or out when adding fluid?
Little help would be greatly appreciated.

Quack,

I have the new model with the ram. It is only about 6 months old, so I can't say for sure what you would have to take down. When I ordered mine I did ask, and was told it takes regular transmission fluid.

I would call Prodrive and they will walk you thru what you need to do. They go thru this everyday.
