So I didn't know that you guys had a place for newbs. So here is my intro.

Never had a mud boat or mud motor.
My name is Chad, I live in Houma, haven't been hunting or fishing much in the last few years. Just started duck/waterfowl hunting again last year. Got a wife and 2 kids, 1 son(16) and 1 daughter(7).
As you may have noticed, I got a donor 14x36 jon boat, a donor trailer and bought new a Copperhead 6.5 MM. Everything is together and redy for duck season. I'm looking forward to spending more time with my son and brother having a good time hunting.
I plan to have a custom hull built in 2011 and put a GT MM on it for myself. That is unless the wife talks me into buying a bay boat.
Anyway, altough I've been around here for a few months and posted a good bit, I've learned a few things about MM and mud specific hulls.

Hope to be around for a while.

livin' right there in houma you can do more and better redfishing out of a mudmotor rig. bayboats are built to catch people, not fish!
