i know ive done it before, years ago, but i cant do it anymore. i dunno if its the newer versions of google earth or maybe just my POS printer. i'd like to start taking notes and makin maps of places i hunt, and itll be alot easier with being able to print out maps. anyone else have a problem with it?

Ok man this is very difficult to print from Google Earth. It took me about 20 minutes to figure it out.

First click on file


Second
Click on print



next click on the image quality you want





Now click print again



Next you will select the printer you will want to print from



Now click on print one more time.


That should have done it

is that supposed to be a smartass move there, bud? im pretty sure thats how everything is printed, im trying to figure out why i can print everything else but not google earth pictures.
btw, i tried it exactly to how you said, and it didnt work........nice try

try the "PrntScr" button. i.e. print screen.

you can also go to the DU website and look on birds eye view then print screen i think

You may be running out of printer memory. Reboot the printer to make sure the cache is cleared out.
I use the print option in GE with no issues.

Take a picture of the screen with your cell phone, and email it to yourself..

Bing maps has brideye view...lot better quality

ok, im goin with J's idea, i just took pictures on my phone and ill just keep my phone with me on the marsh.

i think it may have run out of ink, i wouldnt have expected it to run out near that quick. its a smaller printer but i still expected it to last longer.

Fish, I can print you some 24x36 maps. You pay shipping. I can do the 11x17 also. Basically any size.

Get an iPhone and hit maps and locate ur self (if u got a signal). Saved my ass before

i would love to have an iphone, my buddy got a droid, and it is very nice to have on the feild
