oh yea guys that 40 kohler was doing caddo with out of water rpm wot at 3700 goning to let it break in 10 hrs then change oil and turn up to 4000
had a great time at caddo thanks to all the hard work that went in to it

the kohler from the factoty are set at 3700 rpm out of water mine was also gave it 10 hrs run then turn up the gov to 4000 out of water and i am running 3750 in the water now at 23.5- 26 in deep water that is with a 3 blade and 27 horse kohler

yeah made the afternoon ride to the swim hole had a bad kill swicth key use a spare and ran good had a mb big blade prop on sat would only do 20 mph wot put a three on it today hit 26 once going to get with evt for some minor mods

Since I turned 40 my tolerance for "stupid" becomes smaller and smaller. I'm tellin you right now that if you keep. Runnin that motor at those rpm's you'll regret it.. I don't care what pulleys your runnin, after 4600rpm you gain nuthing with the stock prop. If you rework a big blade your taking a real good chance at pitchin a blade at wfo and havin the tiller. Smokin you right smack dab in the ribs.!!! Will your motor take those rpms,,,,,for a while...

I live in the town where Tim got his start. I will say one thing- aint no need in a boat being as heavy as mine is. even the damn cupholder is made from .125. and along with the waterlogged foam you cant get out its a tank. it sure looks good with the rhino lining and nice camo paint but theres alot of things that couldve been better. the ride and manners on the water is top shelf tho- I do love that.
