 custom exhaust
i have the bps cross over on a stage 3 mini 23 love the power, but its very loud, i was think about getting some motorcross 4 stroke or street bike slip ons and making my own exhaust, anybody try this? Lenny

Don't remember if it was on here or the MB forum, but somebody took a dirt bike baffle and used it. Said it worked real good.

There was one on this site made from a street bike slip on... It was on a LT. Aint seen one on a SD...

Havent tried it yet, but thats better than my idea of using a cherry bomb glass pack. Probably more expensive though, I think I will have my whole thing done for about $75

i found some daul ducati, r6, r1 and even dirt bike stock slip ons on Ebay for about 50-75$ with shipping then i have a buddy that can weld stainless steel all i have to do is get the briggs exhaust flang and 2 small pipes Lenny

This is what I run on My Van. 23 LT Factory Briggs & Stratton 8 to16 HP Mufflers for Guss what Lawn Mower Tractor's.Run's Sweet Not too Loud Sound Like a Harley Sporster with the Screamin Eagle Mufflers.Oh What do Ya Think about my Travel Custom Rain/dust Air Filter Cover.Cost from Frank Edwards Local Briggs Dealer For Both With Tax was $57 and some Change cant beat that.

It Comes With the Pipe that is Threaded at the End Used a Grinder with a 4 1/2 inch Cut off Wheel and cut the factory Muffler off at the Header Pipe Aprox. 2" and Cut the Thread's off the Pipe on the Muffler's and Just But Welded them on.

Here Ya go The Pic off Ebay is what I Took them and the Part Number on the Invoice is What I got a Little More Exspensive But Orig.Brigg's Muffler's not Aftermarket Stuff.

Yup From West Valley City Utah.Actually the Muffler's was a Sugg. from My Buddy Micha Yeh he Also work's at Mud Buddy and Run's his Own Shop Iron Mountain Aah Yah Will not Say Any more About That Anyway.The Carb was a Swap for a Old Mukuni 40mm that I Took off My Harley and he had a 32 mm off a Go Cart.Good Swap for Me and Him both.
