 new winch trim
putting a new trim on my grab bar and motor. old one wetn out. on the pd trim, there was a spot for 4 wires... on the new trim i bought theres 3. any help? could i just splice the black n red and make one?

Justin that sounds right but don't burn nothin up based on my opinion I would think that 2 of the wires are ground wires and 2 are hot and that you could tie the 2 grounds together.

Is it maybe a lighted switch? I bought one just like Tulsa Woody's (pic on his thread for the throttle extender) from Academy. Same wires as the original; 3 wires just like Hoyt said on last weeks radio show. Don't know what you got
