 remote steering
Hey, this question is for you guys with remote steering. Does your slide bracket hit your steering arm ball joint adaptor when you trim your motor all the way up? I can't see where it will cause an issue since the only time I should be trimmed all the way up is when trailering, but the steering ball joint adaptor is pinched between the ram shaft and slide plate when the motor is trimmed up therefore steering is not possible. If the aluminum arm I bolted to the unit to add the remote steering was a couple of inches longer I think it would all clear. I will have to make some alterations to my trailering bracket now because my motor is not trimming up as much as it used to because of the bind it's in, but its just a 16th of an inch and a dremil tool will make quick work of it if needed. I see marks on the slide plate in Slambin's pics, so I'm thinking his does the same, but I just want to make sure its not an installation error on my part.
Thanks Tim
