I ever buy anything from MB. Ordered new 23 mini from MB through Mudd. He did hell of a job and got motor to me in a hurry. The problem being is the first one that was dropped off was a 27 Sport tall transom!

Did anyone call? Hell no. Did anyone care? Hell no. I contacted Jim and he got it all figured out but FEDEX shows up next day with no warning to pick up motor and I'm at work!

call em back and ask to speak to "the man" like i did years ago. Its great fun!!!! Hes NO help at all but its great fun!!

Dude just buy you a 23 GTR and be done with it.

I feel your pain. Atleast you got "some kind of motor" quick. They gave me the run around for 2 months before sending my 23 mini. I shoulda said fork em but learned the hard way. Pro Drive or Gator Tail from here on out.

23GT is fine motor or a smaller Go Devil

you worried about under 200 lbs???? aint gonna make a damm bit a difference when you got a hunting load in her. the damm gt23 is only 225, big damm deal 25 lbs of less shtt to carry to make up the difference and the gt goes faster...everybody knows that

Actually MB mini only goes 160 pounds. Yes it does make a difference where I hunt. Don't worry learned my lesson.

Not your fault. Totally MB's deal. The setup is awesome. Got out Monday to check speeds but GPS is a pile and won't give me a read out. I know when I ran it last Friday she would pull away from Grant with his 27!

I am as happy as a 3peckeredbilly! Next time you make a run down along the river let me know, I could meet ya. No way was I going to get away from the wife.

I had MB weigh a 27mini tall no cluch before i ordered it and it weighed 210lb,so you can bet that 23 is right at 200 with a clutch. I am picking up my motor tomarrow and the first thing i will do is weigh it.

Pulled away my ass! The barge ran right with ya!! I kept up with mudd and everyone else on Sat. so I am happy. I do know that when the budget can take it, there will be a pd with fpr on my boat. Still ran with all those "expensive" rigs.

You could have made it to the river, the wife would have gotten over it.

Remember that's four more horse we are dealing with and by far a heavier boat!

Never got to run them side by side, spent alot of time helping people out and always got seperated from the pack. Wanted to run them SXS to compare the diff between two similar hulls and the only diff in motors was the camshaft.

I did hear Mitch ran 34-35 mph but that was only because he had his GPS on a bungee chord , and when runing wide open he would throw it as hard as he could to get a few more MPH! LOL

Hell, I'm thinking I'll have my son run it when he comes back home for R&R in August. He ain't but a buck n change, so I'm sure It will at least hit 30 maybe more if we drag it down south.
