 Re: Avatar
OK, I been goin all this time without an avatar. Finally decided to put one up. It measures 75 x 58 pixels already, but 1552 bytes. I need to be less than 30 bytes.
How do I reduce the # of bytes??
And photobucket won't let me go to 100 x 150. 2 digits is all that the little box thing allows.

 Re: Avatar
Just tried it again, & it's tellin me that the avatar size must be between 0 & 30 bytes.
Man, I gotta get back to work. Spent an hour just tryin to do this avatar. No wonder I didn't have one on the old board.
I'll try it later...maybe.

 Re: Avatar
use direct link from PB. and set the height of the pixels in MMT avy size to 100 and use the width to make it proportional. It may take a few times to get it right.

 Re: Avatar
Bumped it again to 146 kilobtes, that should do it.
The thing is that you don't want these avatars having to big a file size because when you have a thread with a lot of posts, all these avatar filesizes add up and bog down the load time.
Te new setting should work well.

 Re: Avatar
I'm lost as hell now.
The submitted avatar is 133 pixels wide and 100 pixels high. Avatars must be at least 150 pixels wide and 100 pixels high, but no larger than 150 pixels wide and 100 pixels high
So am I reading this right? The avatar has to be exactly 150 x 100?

The submitted avatar is 130 pixels wide and 98 pixels high. Avatars must be at least 100 pixels wide and 100 pixels high, but no larger than 150 pixels wide and 100 pixels high. I get it the size the crazy thing asks for and it still won't accept it! Avatar's still SGDD'S. E=MC SQUARED is not on my list of can do's.
