Re: Time to Get MMT Back on Track I just bought a PD the first part of June 09..mainly because of this site. Ive always looked at mud boats when looking at getting a duck boat but never made the commitment. I found this site this spring and did alot of searches and read dang near every post. It really helped me make decisions on what i needed to do on my boat, as far as must haves and all that fun stuff, hell ive never even heard of hydroturf and it seemed like i had to have it....and now i love it and all my buddys love it.
I live in Nebraska and really no ones ever seen anything like this around these parts, hardly anyone except for the real Hardcores have ever even heard of a PD or similar. I now will own marshes , backwaters and rivers that no other boat could previosuly get to. Point being Tony this site has done alot of what you wanted to...for me atleast... and i think alot of the stuff on here is pretty funny. I finally registered after being a lurker for ahwile and im trying not to ask stupid questions, i know ive asked one that was dumb already but i try and do as much research as possible to find the answer first before i post... as you should....the only reason i do is so RIVER dont yell at me and tell me i shouldnt own one of these things!! lol hey man everyones got to learn somehow. Ive rebuilt motors in cars and have decent mechanical knowledge and can usualls see how chit goes together, and i will need this site when i start doing some mods next year. Anyway thanks guys for a great site...i just paid off my truck and the credit card in January so i needed to spend money on something.....now im back in the hole 16k and loving it .....you bastards!!!! |
