hey guys. just a duck hunter wanting a new boat. been looking at mud motors since tearing up an an outboard a few years back. spend most of the time in knee infested flooded timber and the rest of the time in the river getting back and forth. what kind of speed can i expect in deep water from a stock 35 gtr pushing a gtb 1860 loaded with 3 250lb men + guns and derks? vs a fully modded 35 gtr?

the stock gtr will carry you plenty fast in stumpy waters. i'm guessing the mid 20's. you can go to the boat review forum amd see what other people have posted about their owns rigs. you might get a pretty good idea of what kind of performance that setup would give you. just my personal opinion unless you are a gearhead and like fixing things and know how to put it back together....then i would not go fully modded. there's a thread in this forum that shows what can happen with "kaboom" in the title . i'm sure someone else will chime in that will be able to give you a better idea of speed with that load. good luck.
