Boat Operation Needing Help
im new to this whole surface drive scene i got a 16 54 bass tracker grizzly allweld with a 35hp mud buddy hd sport i have about got all the bugs ironed out but it seem like every time ii get going and begin to slow down or stop water comes in the back of the boat not enough to sink it but it scares the crap out of me and i gota flip the belge pump on so any suggestion on how to stop the water comin in the back

When you are letting off just ease off and feather the throttle till u come to a stop

sounds like a short transom... if u convert it to a tall transom that'll stop most of it. otherwise just learn to live with by goosin it right before da wake hits ur transom or by turnin as u come to a stop so da wake hits da side of ur boat instead of ur transom.

Move some weight to the front!I ran a 15/48 short transom weldcraft for 4 years with a 36 ProDrive and never had any problems My battery was under front deck and gas tank in the center well!Hope this helps!
