Size of motor recommendation

 Size of motor recommendation I have a 16 x 40" skiff 1/8 with 3/16 transom
I want to know what size gator tail to get
Will the 35 be too much or go with the 25
And sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot I have no idea how to work this I am trying to figure this out.

Re: Size of motor recommendation I was thinking at one time about getting a smaller motor. Im so glad I didnt do it. You will use all 35HP

I have a 17" transom and already planned to add to a 21"
Once I get it I'll let y'all know how it runs.
