 Had a scare last couple days My wife and I are expecting our second child on the 16th. Yesterday we went to the doctors office and had an ultrasound done. They said that they couldnt see all 4 parts of our daughters heart. This was at 10 am. So after 8 hours of testing and monitors the sent us to University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City for and Echo ultrasound. We got home last nite at 10:30 pm and had to be in Iowa City at 10am today. After a 2 hr drive in blizzard conditions last nite and a 3.5 hr drive in the same today, we found out that everything is fine and that the reason that they couldnt see the heart all that well the day before was due to the baby was layin on her left side.
Good news, great news, just flat out worn out and my wife is damn near hystarical that all is well. 7 days to go and "Hannnah" will be here.
