 Louisiana Sportsman Show
My thoughts from the sportsman show: The stick steer PD on display was by far the best looking surface drive at the show. The two blade is huge The PD hunt deck looks outstanding The nat gear on a GTR is the best camo pattern available The covered wires on the EFI GTR makes it look better That 1848 Extreme looks like great The Boss H is very nice looking but crazy expensive motor for it being unproven You can buy a really nice outboard for the price of an average surface drive I wish I had a chance to kill the smallest buck in the big buck contest Shrimp on a stick is a terrible idea It was very hard to not book one of those Texas deer hunts I want that camo tank of a wheel chair Excel boats suck I did not see a sport V on display and to me that is very telling

 Re: Louisiana Sportsman Show
There was one Sport V on an Excell boat set up right across from Gator Trax booth. I too thought it was funny how even Gator Trax only had Hyper Drives or Boss H's rigged. The Boss H looks huge and you can see how/ where the stop they placed on them won't allow you to turn hard right at all.

 Re: Louisiana Sportsman Show
Did the GD crew have an EFI motor there?
I'm curious about that wire cover lol I can't find a pic of a 37 on anything but a GTR.

 Louisiana Sportsman Show
Yep I saw the sport V. Made the comment to my gf, this one looks way better than those ugly ass sport H's. Too bad it's a piece of junk. Best looking boats in my opinion were the 28' American aluminum T top and the 25' Metal Shark T top

Good. So maybe they really are a Briggs part then. I've heard conflicting info on it. If it was a GT part I was about to order one lol.

Be nice if Gator tail would update there website. They got shot on there they don't even sale anymore ( consoles with the bench in front on the extreme) and they don't have info on there new EFI motors

 Re: Louisiana Sportsman Show
The amount of people there was staggering. I normally go on a friday afternoon which is sort of low-key. I wish they would ban strollers inside the buildings and tents. Especially those multi kid ones. I could hardly move in that place and the traffic to get out could have been handled better by Ascension and Gonzales Police. I know it is all about making money but if they would expand the big tents outside and put one less booth per row, in all the buildings and tents it may make it easier to move in there. Also, get out all the crap that does not have anything to do with outdoors like aroma therapy and jewelry. One of the niftiest things I saw was the ice chest drain cover that will not clog up. And the wet neck wraps and hats. I will be talking to them about those things to imprint with company logos and sell those in my other business. They are better than the frog toggs wraps. The Boss H is a fine looking motor. I hope it proves out to be a good one. And I like how easy the trim is to hit with your thumb. I have never looked at a PD as close I did yesterday. I know they are good motors but I just do not like the look of them like a MB, Boss or GatorTail. GTR have the best look of All of them except for the Boss H IMO. One more thing, they need to come up with some scan system for giving names and addresses for give aways. At the front gate you should be able to put your information into a computer and it spits out a card for scanning. Saves a lot of time and aggravation.

 Re: Louisiana Sportsman Show
This is just my .02 cents but if I was to buy a complete rig after looking at all of them this past weekend it would have to be the prodrive stick steer. That bitch was FINE!! It really is nice to look at all the mud boat/motors at once like that. Oh and Voodoo Daddy stop hatin on the strollers I had to push my lil boy in his since my wife ended up coming with me and my lil girl. HAHA even though we did have enough sence to leave the stroller to the side of the door entrance.

I thought the nat gear on the GTR was outstanding. That 1848 extreme with it looked great. i considered buying it.

 Re: Louisiana Sportsman Show
It sure was good talking to some of yall at the show. Thursday and for the first half of Friday there wasnt hardly anyone there because of the rain, but on Saturday I dont think I have ever seen so many people people at this show before.
I also liked that never clog ice chest drain, but he also offers a version of it that can go on the back of a boat and be used as a pick up for an aerator pump, or inside the boat so that your bilge pump will never clog up. We change a ton of bilge pumps a year and thinking about becoming a dealer for them.
Did any of yall see the night vision for your boat? That caught my eye too.
