 Mud boat help
I have a 14 foot mud boat hull that has the straight shaft and prop attached to it already. I am debating on what kind of engine to put in it. It is a pretty light boat. What horsepower engine would ya'll recommend dropping in it?? and How difficult of a task is this going to be? thanks and god bless

 Re: Mud boat help
Does it have the motor mount already in the boat? I would make sure you get a motor thanks has the same height shaft. You don't want to buy a 35 and the shaft be too tall for the angle of the drive shaft.
Worst case is you buy a 25 or 23, and have to raise the motor mount.
It shouldn't be hard to do at all.
