 MB6000 ????
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EhvTjL4 ... re=relatedhow many of you guy where in this rig? What does a MB 600 have in it? This looks like a good load but i estimated it at 1800-2400 lb which my boat will run that all day. Anyone know when this vid was taken or any one in east TX got a MB6000? I want to see it for myself. Later

 Re: MB6000 ????
james i,ve got a 600 . twin mukani cxarbs one for each hole . which sucks cause you don't know if one carb is putting more or less fuel in a cylinder than the other. i'm thinkin it has some head work and some roller rocker arms which i dont know if other stock motors have roller rocker arms or not. bigger cam than stock . thats all i know may have some more done to it but my opionion is that buy a stock mb and let evt sup it for you and will come out cheaper and more power . cause i'm saving my money and i'm goin to let them do some work on it for me . to go to a single big carb instead of 2....

 Re: MB6000 ????
carbs got out of adjustment once me and my dad drag race and he is pretty sharp at turning wrenchs so we went out on the lake and put it under a load and i was driven he was adjustin kinda of a funny sight ... but got'em workin pretty close. lol... dunno speeds my gps was forked up and and we got slow at work so the bonus's stopped rollin in and haven't replaced it so i couldnt get speeds but it hualed a load respectible empty it was dangerous slide all over the damn place ... and its hard for me to judge speed on water cause you always think your goin faster than you really are.. wish they could put those carbs on a single manifold that would be better.. and they good cause they modded and under warrenty .... but i think a stock motor then get modded is the way i would do it if i had to over again jmo.......................

 Re: MB6000 ????
if you look really close you can see little Stevie Crews in the very back of the boat. that was atleast 2 years ago. also... the video doesn't show how Kent had a helluva time getting that boat back up when he stopped in the lillies.

 Re: MB6000 ????
6000 is a MB 45HP with twinkies on it. They are trying a new 7000 that is the same thing but with ours and Hoyt's cam grind I'm sure. Sure their heads are real similarto ours now as well. I did the twinkies on the water and on the dyno and does not pull like our single carb and intake. We are testing a new intake for the Horizontals now as well asa different carb. Only thing I seen on those 6000s at Caddo last year was the bow of the boat they were on. I hauled 5 guys, 12 gallons of fuel, 150lbs of crap and a ice chest full of beverages in a 1854 GTB 35mph and it did not take me much at all to step it. Little Steve Crews was a guest in the boat that day. Building a 80hp Generac right now to put on a mini airboat and then we will put it on a GTR. On another note for you Kohler peeps and 23Hp Vangaurd peeps, we should have our new 23hp & 25-27hp mufflers rolling out within a few weeks. Price will be $500.

 Re: MB6000 ????
Well ~ You must admit ... It is gittin' 12 folks up on plane !!!! Me personnelly have no use to puttin' that many folks in mines Duck or Fishin' boathull. Alot of folks like to put the bash on the MudBuddy and some mite have good cause to do such but I'm kind of proud that thay have tried so many different thangs !!!! It appears that alot of thangs that thay have tried didn't work out very well and now everyone now knows different and it makes the MudBuddy camp look bad !!! Thay probly should have done more inhouse testing on thay's stuff instead of just throwin' it out there for the public to try ...... or better yet ...... let some of thays local fellers run the crap out of 'em for 'bout 4 years and test them out thayselves !!!! Hey I gots a idea !!!!!! Ifin you folks at MudBuddy is readin' this ..... send me a demo on yore next invention and let me put the reel test to it !!! Between me and some of the fellers I run with ...... we can put yore MudMotorMachine thang thru a true life test before you go to market with it !!! I can be kind of like yore "Test Pilot" !!!! I'm still can of aggravated that the Gator-Tail folks didn't do me that way ...... thay sent me a MudMotorMachine thang that needed very little improvement. I did kind of git in on some of their propeller advise tho ...... that was kind of a no brainer tho !! Hey MudBuddy ~ I will be standin' by waintin' on mines phone call !!!!!!

Brooks I'm visualizing you as a 'Chuck Yeager with beard' mudmotor test pilot for MB. I can see it.

 Re: MB6000 ????
I have a 6000 and have never had problem with carb balance and adjustment. It does OK.
I will have heads updated this spring. 100 hours on it. I did have a push rod go bad and replaced it but that was it.
It has 30 mm carbs and I guess the new 7000 model will have the head work and 32 mm carbs from the get go.
Overall I cannot complain. Not a racing set up but it hauls hunting loads very well, I can pull my kids skiing behind etc. and I am satisfied.
The 1 year warranty is a big thing to me.
I know a lot of people bash MM but they were the first to publicly offer mods that you all consider normal now.

 Re: MB6000 ????
I did not know you offer a full warranty now not to mention 10 years ago.
Must be the internet.

 Re: MB6000 ????
the first to publicly offer mods that you all consider normal now. a 23hp modded longtail was built back in 1999 for your MM man. As with everything else, takes someone else's idea and pawns it off as his own.
Been offering 6 month warranty since we started when we perform the install.
