im not saying I would pull a gun these days you can get into too much shit. However about 3 years ago at the landing a guy pulled an AR on somebody over them fucking with there blind. ended up gunwhipping the dude with it.

And my friend I understand, the lake is not owned by the government. it is owned by Hunt oil and is maintained and by the feds. The blinds themselves on the lake are private property. I know of a few times when people have had charged placed on them for fucking with peoples blinds. The lake is public property but the blinds that are there have been there and most have had them forever.

I don't like our blind laws for a couple of reasons, but reading about this lake makes me appreciate them.

They have alot of that on here. Just like "I wouldnt kill anything with 3-4 dozen decoys" versus their 3000. If you need 3000 decoys to get birds come your way just quit hunting. Normally I dont use any or 6 decoys and still kill.

I normally hunt less than a dozen decoys, and I can tell you. I wouldn't even think of hunting Catahoula with less than 100 decoys

no one said you need 3000 to get them to come your way but when the person next to you has 2500 and the one on the other side has 1200 and the next 4000 you have to have it to compete. I mean if a duck is passing above us, we 300 yds apart and sees 1000 and your 36, where do you think hes going? come on. I agree other places you don't need but a sack of decoys but Catahoula is a whole different animal. its one of the most competitive places you will ever hunt. Im not bluffing and never said I would pull a gun due to consequences. but have seen it before and it happens from time to time. But if you would move close to me you would have to move. I have seen people take a long rope and a cinderblock and make loop de loops in someones decoys then they will all be tangled together and drug out in the middle of the lake.
