No there not permanently placed but I leave my seats in my boat half the time I don't put the covers on unless I am planning on sitting in them for awhile and I can take them off if its raining so u don't get a saturated ass

I have use flat black and green rustoleum to dust coat the fade to pink camo cover on cheaper seats. Got kind of the same effect as Will's gun dye. Just not near as nice but it works and hold up pretty good.

Just got the millennium seat in and looks like its going to hold up nice! Pretty comfortable! I like the idea that they don't hold water in like the cushion seat do. And they are very light! Going to be a while before I can use it in a boat so we shall see then!
