Another new guy, Have 2 Mud motors , both Long tails. A GD 5hp crawdad on 14-36 riveted, and a 23 hp B&S Beavertail on a flat deck twin pontoon. |

I just bought a Gator Trax 16x50 with a Mudbuddy 35....i ran it this weekend with my GPS and was doing 18-20 MPH. Shouldnt I get a little more speed out of it. Hell....my 14x36 with a 9.5 hp will probley outrun it...can I plz get some feedback!! thx!! |

Its hard to find them up here to drive as noone deals in them. Sucks because I think I could go anywhere in our shallow rivers up here and really open up some more hunting oprotunities. |

Thanks I did see that but No its a little far for em as IA is about 22 hrs away. I am going to be in the Chattanooga area for a week in July and maybe I can find someone in that are to show me one and maybe take a ride. Absolutly noone up here has any and I cant figure out why. |

What up, it's Bayou ~ living across da lake on da good side of NOLA. Lived in Breaux Bridge & Lafayette so that should count for something on this forum. I used to have a 14' flat with a 9hp, GD LT back in the day. Getting ready to make the plunge on a GT1860/GTR 35 w/ mods -- center console. It's going to be my "do all" boat. Bowfish - duck hunt- chase bass, reds & specks wit da poles. I'm currently selling plasma and shaking cans at Vets and Causeway to afford the rig. Maybe Obama can give dis ol' boy a bail out. Is Coonass a minority? P.S. I've been cruzing this site and picking ya'lls brains to come up wit the best MM combo. |
