I have a 15 42 Tracker with a 29 Kaw. surface drive now and the motor is great when i first got it now it is getting old and breakin down. Now iam lookin at a 35mb surface up grade boat later, but will the boat handle it? Idk the weights on either but if boat is bare with the 29 it hops pretty good. Will the 35 stock b ok for now ???

i wouldnt do it. ive heard of guys with 35 on 16x60 boats but never on one that small. thats alot of weight and power for a boat that size imo

Anything will work, but it may not work real well... Dont know where you at, or how bad the Opossum police are where your at And I may be talking out the side of my neck but is your boat rated for a motor that big? Tickets cost money.... IMO That boats small for a 35hp,, but each to they own my friend....

The boat is rated for a 40 but then again thats an outboard

i was thinking maybe 27 mini but how will that haul a big load iam talkin 3 guys dog and 100 deks we diver hunt alot so loads get pretty big

Thats a big load for a boat the size.... I put the nose of my boat under water with 3 folks and gear last year ( talk about pinching the seat, not a good feeling )... It was a 1448 Tracker... ITs been sold and got me a 1948 for this year.....

I know how you u feel but got to stay in the budget i thinkin the 27 mini with the mods but dont know where to get them and how much. i was thinkin exaust and carb the head work will come later. jsut hope i can get good speed and carry a load when needed
