Post Added power trim to my Prodrive 27! Oh Yeah!!!
I ordered a power trim unit for my Prodrive and it showed up last Thursday. I installed it over the weekend and all I can say is "YES"

The power tilt will lift the motor a lot higher, high enough in fact so that I can now install a transom saver to stop the flop that I usually got. It also will lower the motor a lot more.

With the Manual trim, I just couldn't get the motor up high enough to get the job done in really shallow water. Now it'll trim right up well above the bottom of the boat.

I haven't had a chance to run it yet because I'm packing up for the move back to Maine from California. Headed home after a year and a half job on the left coast. It was fun!!

I felt the same way when I added my P/T.

You dont know how nice it is, until you get it.. Then, you will never go back to manual..

Congrats..

Where can you buy the power trim? And is it hard to do?
