Is there any better design than the plastic throttle lever on a GT? Just broke my second one. The plastic just kinda crumbled in my hand. Whats left of it is full of hairline cracks. First one did the same thing at about 85 hrs and now this one at 125. Guess Ill have to make a trip to GT this week. Anyone else ever had this happen?

you can get anything to work as long as you can pull the cable with it.... a brake handle from a bike will work...

The sun tends to bake them a little if left out for a period of time

I also thought about putting the ASV breakaway clutch lever for a dirtbike on mine, won't ever break

My engine is two years old and has sat in the sun everyday and it's fine. I haven't even heard of one breaking like that before.

ive done the sting thing on an airboat before.... it was actually decoy cord and an achor wrapped around my hand... fun times...

My buddy Mike had this old school fiberglass boat with like a 25 on the back of it. His steering linkage broke all to hell somehow, so he like pins the throttle wide open, and goes back there and steers it by hand, backwards in the dark.

The stupid shit we do to duck hunt.
