Im looking at putting in some hydroturf. I was wondering which design you guys recommend- diamonds, waffle or flat? Also, I live in hot-azz florida and the boat gets really hot in the summer sun. Would the temperature of the florida sun melt the glue? |

Its hotter in TX and it doesn't melt the glue here. The grooved would be the easiest to clean. But I have the diamond in my boat because it was cheaper. I like it. |

http://hydroturf.com/products/Closeouts ... Hydro-Turf this is what we all use... 30 dollars a sheet, its a B grade.. meaning its not absolutely perfect. it can have one small pin hole in a waffle and they use it as a B. works great. u can thank me later. |

I am partial to the grooved self stick OD green myself- second boat with it and will not have a boat in the heat without it. I like the green color and the adheasive backed sheets are really easy for install. The only thing that melts the glue is gasoline or other solvent. You will not regret installing the turf in your AL boat- more comfortable in summer and winter. |

I am getting the GT portable seat bases. How does the Hydro-turf hold up to the seat bases? |
