In your own opinion, will a 1648 0.80 gauge Weldbilt with split back seats that are welded into the transom, carry a 23 hp LA Special MB...? I believe the motor is weights around 190lbs... any serious replies are welcome... |

It will hold up just fine with the 23, but will also hold up to the 35 LA Special also. Quackkiller08 has been runnin a 35 on a 1848 rivieted Polar Krap for a couple yrs now. |

Ran a 27 GDSD on the 1742 Weldbilt in .90 --- it ran great --- I did mangle the bottom a bit between them sideways crossbraces --- but it didn't affect performance enough to talk about as it still bumped the 30 mph mark solo and empty..... |
