 Steelflex up the sides or just bottom???? Fixin to order some steelflex for my boat. Should I stop it at the edge of the bottom or come up the side a few inches. If I am to stop it at the edge do I just tape of the edge like paint?

Re: Steelflex up the sides or just bottom???? It wouldn't hurt to put it a couple inches up the side. Anywhere the hull drags in the water, it will help to have it. And yeah, just tape it off like your painting.

Re: Steelflex up the sides or just bottom???? It can't weigh more than it does when its in the can. What does the can weigh full? 10 lbs? 20-25 at the most? Spread out over close to a hundred square feet, it aint gonna weigh the boat down.

When I put mine on, I went up the sides about 3 inches or so - good if you get stopped in shallow mud or veg's to get it moving sideways and out.
