Guys im sitting here in class and i have a question about who to call and what to do. The boat that i have my motor on used to be one of my dads best friends boat. It has not been registrated since 2003 and i cannot find the hin number anywhere on it i have the number still on the boat since the last time it was registred but i dont know who to call since i dont have the hull number??? any help would be great just a name or number for mississippi

You Wildlife and Fisheries Dept should have that info. If the numbers on the boat are legit that is.

their the right nunber just lost the card with th hin number when they sent it

Whoever it was registered to last will need to re apply for it.when he gets a new registration,he will need to sign the back and yall gonna have to get a notarized bill of sale.in la,it cost 28bucks not counting the notary fee.

this boat has not been regestered since before katrina and the man it belong to has passed away now what do i do

Can't the estate of your dad's buddy write you up a bill of sale? Somebody had to inherit his stuff.

thanks guys i had my dads friend call up there and explain the situation that it was his dad that had died and it had been his boat and they are going to send him the new sticker and its only like 10$ something for it
