I've had a 7hp for several years and have had no problems with it whatsoever. I have a buddy that had a 6.5 hp and wore out the Honda engine he used it so much. No problems with the frame. He threw the 7 hp Subaru on there and that one's still going strong. I put Seafoam in my gas tank when I put mine in storage last November and just put it back on my boat a couple of weeks ago. Started up on the first pull and is running like I have ran it every day. I personally run it on a grumman sport boat and one guy and dog with a medium hunting load will go about 13 mph. It's a great one man rig that can be hidden anywhere with ease. |
