 mud buddy mini hd 14hp vs Copperhead 12hp I did a search but couldn't find any comparison between the 2 motors. I have a 1236 alumacraft jon and I've narrowed my search to a Mud Buddy mini HD 14 or Copperhead 12.
I'm having trouble deciding on which motor to buy. The copperhead is cheaper but the Mud Buddy give me more HP and the company has been around longer... also there is a Mud Buddy dealer/service shop close to my house (Lake Wylie SC)
Any thoughts on this? Anything I'm missing?

Re: mud buddy mini hd 14hp vs Copperhead 12hp OK, now that I look at it, the Mud Buddy is cheaper. Copperhead 12 motor is 2895. Mud Buddy HD Mini 14 Vanguard is 2845
I'll also need to add in camo paint, remote fuel, shipping-crating
so now I'm leaning toward the Mud Buddy HD Mini 14
