Well i finally got a new prop and got on the water to test it out. Im running a xpress 1650 (i know its not a mm hull but its all i can afford right now) and a 35 mudbuddy sport. I was only getting 23 mph by my self wich was much less than i expected. However, when i packed 5 people in it, my pop up blind, and 2 batteries, my speed only dropped to 21. What could be causing this speed with just me. I was very impressed with the load hauling ability but disappointed with the top speed unloaded. Im running a tiger big blade.

I know its not what you wanna hear but if i had to guess id say its the hull

Your very lucky in my opinion to get 21 outta it with 5 people. I was runnin a 25 prodrive on a 15 ft express and with 3 adults and a child with hunting gear didnt even get close to that. Its the hull. Do like i did sell the whole thing and start over.
