1. I will not park my boat blind in a coulée, bayou, or choke point so as to cause others moving through to have to maneuver through your decoys while being cursed.
2. I will not shoot at ducks flying more than 45 yards in the air.
3. I will not waste shells on Poule d'eaus.
4. I will not station my boat blind nearer 200 yards from yours.
5. I will not drive around looking for mud in which to get stuck.
6. I will not enter bay a hah because that's my god given area, just like Tete a la vache enterance where my grreat-grandfather, grandfather, father, and me have had a blind for 100years. They will haunt your hunt if you try.
7. I will not hunt the state land because that's the Collet family god given territory and they will let you know that immediatly
8 I will be hunting north end of bay a hah opening day so respect that or I will drive around your f***ing decoys till you leave.

Now, have a nice hunt.

I wish they had something like this on the hunting permit.

And I will be hunting NW of Fordorche Lake...maybe or the southern end of Fordorche Lake. If I get there early enough.

1. I will not disregard the sign and be in the blind the owner (me) took time to brush a month ago. I will get out or the owner (me) will remove the brush and burn it nearby while runnin my boat in circles shootin.

I'm actually working on a SaaS (cloud database) module to help coordinate duck hunter locations so we don't trample over each other. I'm trying to get La. Wildlife and Fisheries to support it with their enforcement. You will be able to view a map online showing your intended location on any given day. It will track how often you select a location which will be radius specific, though I haven't figured out yet what the radius will be, so if more than one hunter selects a location it will permit the one least often associated with that spot to be selected. You will have to register your boat numbers and hunter's license. Other details are confidential. But it would be nice to be able to know that 4 people will not show up for the same spot in the morning. It will be so much more efficient than what we have now....everyone racing to their spots.

I'm going to open a new thread for discussion on this soon.

Well it appears that we will have a warm & foggy opening morning w/ very little south wind.

So I will be in the 16x36 GDLT launching in the west side p/l canal. Of coarse I will be moving at the break neck speed of 13mph.

I hope my nav lights work...

I can't wait to see all ya'll's silly asses jockeying for position just to piss this old fellow off. Just know that I'm like Marcus Vick, you think he's going one way then.....swoooop and he's gone the other. I'll be the only truck in the parking lot with an Obama sticker and I'd appreciate a little respect so don't put sugar in my tank, but you can leave a message on my windshield if you want.

whenever I go, I get their early and act like I'm waiting on someone, then I offer to hold guys ropes while they launch. When they get in their truck I pull their plug and chunck it in the ramp. Thins out the competition quick.

all duck hunters should go by at least half of them...had to shoot some jerkoff's decoys with the 17 so they would move 120 yd is up my a$$ on a lake. After about 5 decoys he finally got the point. Cant tell you why set up so damn close
