 mudbuddy 23
i have a mud buddy 23 and it wont stay in drive had it fixed for a lil while but back to the same now what could the problem be?

old style centrifugal clutch or the electric powered clutch?

Yep, need a lil more info. If it's the electric clutch, start tracin out all the wires & look for a broken wire. Could also be the relay goin bad, but usually it just goes out & that's it.

i real dont know what clutch it is but perty sure is the old one its a 2004

electric clutch will have a switch to engage tthe drive. the other will enggagge as you throtle up the motor. illl bbet its electric.

yea its the electric clutch. is it common that they go out alot?

My buddy has replaced two electric clutches in his with less than 100 hours on it. Hes so pissed off it sits in his garage as a sawhorse weight.
