 How to work lights
If you see another boat comin at you, turn your @#$%& headlights off. You might be able to see me but I can't see nothin including you. Heck, I can't see for two minutes after you pass if you got good ones.
And while I am giving instructions on how to work lights....
If you have a fishin light on your camp, point the &^%$# thing down at the water not down the canal.
Happy Thanksgiving to anyone that has not blinded me this week.

 Re: How to work lights
Try running the ICW with barge rr lights pointing at you. I shine my head lamp right back at them they usually stop or move it to their bow. PITA!

 Re: How to work lights
I been blinded on the ICW and when I shine them they get the message.
Shrimper last week got me pretty good. I only had to light him up a couple of times for him to figure it out.
Guy that made me so mad, never figured it out.

 Re: How to work lights
this also applies to the boat ramp. if there is two lanes 1) don't take up both lanes, i don't care if you can't back up your boat wortha damn! 2) turn your fkn lights off so other may back up peacefully!
