 Prodrive in stumps?
Was wondering how a Prodrive is in stumps. I currently have a mud buddy and it's pretty forgiving when I hit stumps with the floating handle. How would a prodrive do if I hit a stump wide open??

 Re: Prodrive in stumps?
Most people drive a Pro Drive sitting down like they do a tiller handle outboard. when your not standing its not a big deal because its bouces up and sets itself back down...... the weight is waayyy futher back on the PD's

 Re: Prodrive in stumps?
It will rip your forkin arm off the first time. If your a slow learner or easily distracted it will rip your arm off the second and maybe the third time too. Again depending on how quick you catch on. After that you develop a technique of not running it with a full death grip on the throttle. I roll the throttle on and release my grip because I can hold it with just a little downward pressure. Then if it kicks it rides up and down on its own. In the 3 years I have had mine I have only hit a couple solid stumps at WFO. Otherwise the PD does great in stumps due to the large skeg which I think keep you from getting many prop hits.

My left arm is now longer than my right arm.

You will know you hit something - no doubt. If you are worried about don't go there. To be honest I'm not sure why you have to run stumps WFO anyways.
