I know that there exists several of posts on these topics, but I must ask for opinions. I will sell my outboard / flat after the new year, and get a surface drive boat / motor. Opinions needed are:

* Pro drive or Gator tail? I want reverse.
* I priced the PD and GT hulls, do I need a hull from PD or GT, or will one of the Aucoin / sportsmans fab etc.. be cheaper and perform just as good.
* I want a console, none of the above mentioned offer a console with a full bench for seating behind the console, is this possible with surface drive setup?
* Does a longer and wider hull help performance and / or speed or vice versa?
