Ok, Gang ... what's your opinion on running my fiberglass boat (16 ' Carolina Skiff "Lil Jon" / 23 GDLT) in 1 to 1 1/2 " of ice? Am I getting ready to tear something up? Yea, I need an alumimum boat, but when you'r retired ya got to run what ya got.

How about it, Utah crew?

People here run Carolina Skiffs and similair fiberglass boats through ice that thickness, just as all the people with aluminum boats do. You'll be fine, just take it easy.
