6th annual 2009 Inshore Flats Classic When: Saturday, May 1st, 2009 Where: Squid Lips Overwater Grill/Sebastian, Florida Eligible Species: Trout/Redfish/Snook/Ladyfish/Jacks/Sheepshead Over 20 payouts Firearms – Rods/Reels - Cash – DU Limited Edition Merchandise Heaviest Trout/Redfish/Snook: 1st $300.00, 2nd $200.00, 3rd $100.00) Heaviest Trash Slam: 1st – 4th: Trophies - 12 trophies total Heaviest (3) Fish Grand Slam: DU Limited Edition Merchandise Break-out Categories Redfish/Most Spots - Top Wader – Top Mud Motor – Top Micro Skiff/40hp below Top Guide/Captain - Top Fly Fisherman – Top Lady Angler – Top Paddlers To encourage a live & safe release, a 1/2 pound per fish/dead fish penalty will be deducted at weigh-in (excluding Trash Slam) Fishermen/Attendees do not need to be a circuit/DU member to participate in this event Registration Opens: Friday, May 1st, 2009 – 5:30pm @ Squid Lips Captains Meeting: Begins @ 7:00 pm - Door Prizes & Raffles Tournament Starts: Gentlemen’s start 5:30 am (GPS) Weigh-In: 12:00 am - 3:00 pm (GPS) Awards Ceremony: 4:30 pm - Raffle Table & Live/Silent Auctions $65.00 per adult/Children 15 & under FREE w/paying adult Capt’s Bag – (1) one year DU membership/magazine The raffles/auctions are open to all & the general non-fishing public is encouraged to attend. Just a reminder about the MUD MOTOR break-out during the tourney. The largest fish of any of the (3) three species will be awarded a break-out prize. |
