My 35 GTR's trim unit is leaking badly due to a scarred up cylinder. The motor is a late 08' model with only about 50 hours on it. My cylinder looks horrible and I honestly don't know why. It has definitely not been abused. My concern is replacing it with a new $300 unit and it needing to be done again in a year or two. What would've caused this and what could be done to prevent it in the future? Are there any "upgrades" available? Thanks, Tony |

My ram was scarred up bad too. My motor is only a year old. They switched from an aluminum ram to a stainless steel one. Rebuilt mine and no more problems. Maybe they could rebuild it cheeper than replacement. I dont know. |
