very dissatisfied with mud buddy motors ,purchased a new 23 LA mud special and it is a month past due and seems like im getting the run/around from the factory. BEWARE this when deciding which one you want. if the service matches the sale its gonna suck too |

X2 on that. Now i cant vouch for the bigger SD rigs. I know a lot of folks that have em and love em, but my LT...who man not again. I had a GDLT before i uptraded for a MBLT with 4 more HP. It was cheap so i figured, why not? Shoulda known better, the MB didnt hold up at all, ended up having to hike out cuz i almost ripped the handle clean off. I couldnt risk running in anything but open water. Dont even get me started on their props either...what a piece of chit! |

I've had nothing but the best customer service through mudbuddy and my dealer when I needed replacement parts. Only thing I got was a case gasket and a crossover and it was no questions asked parts shipped. |

Put 49 hours on a MB 5500 this past duck season and not a single problem. Couldn't be happier. |

We used to keep a 35 out at the duck lease out in the elements etc she would always fire right up never had any issues with her other than minor maintenance. Maybe you got a lemon? |

I agree with you swamprat. I remember pm you about different kinds of mudbuddy motors. The customer service is horrible and what's the deal with them to not start making them til the of April? You bet your ass if someone sends me a $5,000 check I'm gonna get to it right away and keep my customers satisfied. |

got it and its runnin good and strong.. very suprised that it pushes my 15/54 alumaweld 22to23 mph upriver. has pretty good pick-up and handles very good. comparing the gas usage to my 30 johnson that i was runnin and i was VERY satisfied , what would have taken 3 tanks before took about 4 gallons. at that rate the motor will pay for itself in fuel in a year. |

Damn well that all sounds good especially the speed. I guess the waitin pays off, only 2 more days til I get mine put on. Oh I ended up goin with the 27 hp mini on a 1542 riveted flatbottom. It seems like a strong boat, the previous owner had a 20 hp longtail on it. I know the motor can take a beating, but I hope this boat can haha. |

Just got the motor put on today. Damn it looks good and ready to get it on the water tomorrow. I stopped at a gas station and people were standing around my boat when I walked outside and they were asking "if I was on my way to help the flood victims off the Mississippi". I told them that I literally just got it put on and not ready for the first test drive to be on the Big River haha. I will post speeds, pics, and vid tomorrow on here. |
