took my boat out yesterday for the first time. its just a plain 14 ft flat bottom with a 23 gdlt. after running it i decided i need to put a grab handle in it.i want to make my own so any pics or ideas would be great. |

piece of wood screwed down to the floor. w/ bar screwed to the wood. too easy. |

I bought this one from Gatortrax- mounts fit on a box (there are plates on the inside to add strength). Not sure what you got but it may give an idea: |

Baller, Where you from? You have welding skills? If so, I can hook you up with a pipe bent like the one in deadbirds pic. you would just need a piece of 3/8" flat plate to weld it to, to bolt it to the floor. 1/2" round bar for some bracing. I have a plywood floor and I bolted that to the top with flatbar running underneath the plywood. |
